Enhancing the electromagnetic interference shielding of flexible films with reduced graphene oxide-based coatings

Herein, it was investigated the development of a low-cost conductive coating for application in field Electromagnetic Interference shielding (EMI shielding). The produced with reduced graphene oxide (rGO), considered an excellent technological alternative applications, and styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymer. rGO obtained by reduction (GO) using ascorbic acid as “green” efficient reducing agent, Raman spectroscopy results indicated that GO successfully reached. Firstly, polymeric substrates were covered coatings containing 2% (v/v) to evaluate electrical conductivity electromagnetic effectiveness transmission (SET). With best SET value achieved, copolymer SEBS added improve its adhesion over substrate.
